Patients with gout should avoid stir-fried rice noodles. If gout occurs, it is essential to avoid seafood and other marine products, as well as animal offal. Foods that elevate uric acid levels—or are high in purines—must also be avoided, and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. Patients should drink plenty of plain water to promote uric acid excretion. Additionally, individuals with gout must closely monitor the severity of their condition.
