Longmu Zhuanggu Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine preparation presented as light yellow to yellow granules with a fragrant, sweet odor. It is a tonic agent that functions to strengthen tendons and bones and harmonize the stomach while invigorating the spleen. Its composition includes: Codonopsis root (Dangshen), Scutellaria root (Huangqin), Ophiopogon tuber (Maidong), vinegar-processed turtle shell (Guijia), stir-fried Atractylodes rhizome (Baizhu), Chinese yam (Shanyao), vinegar-processed Schisandra fruit (Wuweizi), dragon bone (Longgu), calcined oyster shell (Muli), Poria (Fuling), jujube (Dazao), licorice root (Gancao), calcium lactate, stir-fried chicken gizzard lining (Jineijin), vitamin D₂, and calcium gluconate. It is primarily used for the treatment and prevention of rickets and osteomalacia in children. Additionally, it helps alleviate symptoms such as excessive sweating, night terrors, poor appetite, indigestion, and delayed physical development in children. The granules are taken orally after dissolving in warm water.
