Hello, the normal percentage of lymphocytes should range between 20% and 40%. An elevated lymphocyte percentage is most commonly due to infectious causes—primarily viral infections. If the patient is asymptomatic and routine blood tests show only an increased lymphocyte percentage, a recent viral infection is likely; in such cases, no specific treatment is required. However, if symptoms such as cough, sputum production, fever, dizziness, or headache are present, an upper respiratory tract infection should be considered, and oral antiviral therapy is recommended.
