Hello, gastric distension after drinking tea may be related to impaired gastric motility, coldness in the stomach (leading to slowed peristalsis), and indigestion. Gastritis cannot be ruled out either, and symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and gastric pain may also occur. Treatment options include domperidone to enhance gastric motility and aid digestion. Avoid alcohol, tea, coffee, spicy foods, and cold foods; also avoid overeating or irregular eating patterns, as these may irritate the stomach, increase gastric burden, and impede recovery.
