Yellowish semen in men—i.e., yellowish ejaculate—can result from various factors. For instance, prolonged abstinence or infrequent sexual activity may cause semen to remain in the body for extended periods, leading to concentration and a yellowish discoloration. Persistent yellowish semen, however, may indicate underlying urological conditions such as prostatitis or orchitis.
