Symptom Characteristics of Scrotal Eczema
Disease description:
I’ve recently noticed many small bumps on my scrotum, accompanied by intense itching. My wife suspects it might be scrotal eczema—what are the characteristic symptoms of scrotal eczema?
The characteristic symptoms of scrotal eczema include papules and papulovesicles on the scrotum, often accompanied by marked local exudation. Patients experience intense pruritus, leading to repeated scratching and resulting in prominent excoriations on the skin. In the chronic phase of scrotal eczema, the affected skin becomes markedly thickened, dry, and may even exhibit scaling.
