The survival period for patients who develop pulmonary fibrosis may range from six months to ten years. The specific survival period depends on the individual patient’s condition. If the patient has poor physical health, rapid disease progression, and fails to receive effective treatment, the survival period may be approximately one year. However, if the patient is in relatively good physical condition, has mild disease, and receives timely treatment, the survival period may extend to ten years or longer.
