Developmental Milestones for a 13-Month-Old Baby
Disease description:
My baby is 13 months old, but I feel there may be some developmental delays compared with peers of the same age. Therefore, I would like to learn about the developmental milestones for a 13-month-old infant.
Under normal circumstances, a 13-month-old boy typically weighs between 8.3–12.7 kg and measures 71–83 cm in height, while a girl of the same age usually weighs between 7.6–11.9 kg and measures 70–81 cm in height. By this age, children generally have about eight teeth erupted. They can understand some verbal instructions from adults but are not yet able to express themselves verbally; instead, they primarily communicate through gestures, body movements, and vocalizations.
