Circumcision—the primary type of foreskin surgery—is performed under local anesthesia; therefore, patients typically do not experience significant pain at the surgical site during the procedure. However, some patients may feel mild pain at the surgical site after surgery—this is a normal and expected phenomenon, generally tolerable and gradually subsiding within 2–3 days postoperatively.
