The primary symptom of heterochromia is a difference in iris color between the two eyes, which may manifest as either darkening or lightening of one iris. Additionally, some patients may experience associated conditions such as ciliary congestion or corneal edema. When these symptoms occur, prompt medical consultation is recommended.
