What is a left kidney tumor lesion?
Disease description:
During my examination today, the doctor informed me that I have a tumor lesion in my left kidney. What does “tumor lesion in the left kidney” mean?
Left renal tumor lesions primarily refer to solid, space-occupying lesions within the left renal parenchyma. Such lesions may be benign but cannot exclude malignancy. Benign tumors commonly include lipomas and hemangiomas, which typically lack malignant invasive potential. In contrast, clinically common malignant tumors include clear cell renal cell carcinoma, which exhibits malignant behavior.
