Today, a friend mentioned that she had back pain and went for a medical examination. The doctor said it was caused by poor pubic bone recovery after childbirth. I’m not sure where the pubic bone is located and would like to learn more about its anatomical position.

The pubis is one of the primary bones forming the pelvis, located inferiorly in the pelvic region—specifically, it comprises two symmetrical bones at the anterior aspect of the pelvis, situated at the lower front portion of the abdomen near the perineum. Its main function is to protect the genital organs. Localized pain in this area may result from pubic symphysis separation, which is typically managed with a pelvic correction belt combined with exercise-based rehabilitation.
