What should I do about pimples inside the nostrils?

Disease description:

I’m 34 years old this year. Recently, I caught a cold and have been experiencing nasal discomfort—my nose hurts upon even light touch. Initially, I assumed it was due to “excess internal heat,” but upon closer inspection, I realized it’s actually a pimple. I’d like to know how to manage a pimple inside the nostril.

Acne commonly develops on various parts of the body, including both cheeks, the upper chest, back, nasal cavity, perineum, and chin—these are all common sites. When acne occurs inside the nasal cavity, avoid using highly irritating topical medications during treatment. Due to the anatomical specificity of this area, first trim nasal hairs with a sterilized small pair of scissors to facilitate easier application. Then apply medication using a sterilized cotton swab; acne ointment may be used for treatment. Exercise caution when applying medication to nasal acne: the drug should be applied only directly onto the acne lesion—not onto normal surrounding skin. In daily life, maintain a light diet centered on vegetables. Consume more vitamin- and fiber-rich foods such as spinach, Chinese cabbage (bok choy), cucumber, and tomatoes. This not only increases vitamin intake but also effectively promotes gastrointestinal motility and aids digestion. Improved digestion, in turn, is an effective strategy for reducing acne occurrence.
