Frequent mosquito bites may result from an overactive metabolic function, leading to increased sweating. Alternatively, certain unique body odors may attract mosquitoes and prompt them to bite. It is important to maintain good personal hygiene and minimize exposed skin. During summer, when mosquitoes are more prevalent, keeping the skin clean and dry—and avoiding excessive sweating or dampness—can help reduce bites. Applying insect-repellent lotion (e.g., Hu Lu Shui) topically may also be beneficial.
