How to Take Levamlodipine Besylate Tablets

Physician’s Recommendation:
(1) The initial dosage of levamlodipine besylate tablets for hypertension and myocardial infarction is 2.5 mg once daily. Based on the patient’s clinical response, the dose may be increased, up to a maximum of 5 mg once daily.
(2) No dosage adjustment is required when this drug is co-administered with thiazide diuretics, beta-blockers, or angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Less common adverse reactions include headache, edema, fatigue, insomnia, nausea, abdominal pain, facial flushing, palpitations, dyspnea, and dizziness.
