Why does my face feel hot?
Disease description:
I’ve always been in good health with no medical issues, but recently—without any apparent reason—my face has been feeling hot. What could be causing this sensation of facial heat?
Facial warmth or flushing may result from infection—for instance, bacterial or viral exposure to the face—leading to symptoms such as facial redness and heat. Additionally, facial warmth can be caused by conditions like facial neuritis or trigeminal neuralgia. In cases of infectious fever (e.g., due to bacteria, viruses, or mycoplasma), appropriate antibiotic therapy may be indicated. Furthermore, facial warmth is a common symptom during female menopause, often accompanied by physical and emotional irritability as well as night sweats.
