Experiencing tooth pain immediately after drinking water may be associated with the following causes: 1. Patients with dentin hypersensitivity often exhibit pronounced pain in response to thermal (hot or cold) stimuli, which may also interfere with normal eating. 2. Dental caries may result from improper dietary habits or inadequate oral hygiene, leading to damage of the tooth’s hard tissues and causing tooth pain upon drinking water.
