Why Do I Keep Passing Gas?
Disease description:
I’ve been passing gas more frequently these past few days—constantly flatulating. My friends have even started teasing me about it. What could be causing this excessive flatulence?
Frequent flatulence may result from eating too quickly or consuming insufficient food, both of which can accelerate intestinal motility. Long-term use of anti-inflammatory medications or poor dietary habits—especially frequent consumption of gas-producing foods—can disrupt the gut microbiota and thereby increase flatulence. Additionally, consistently overeating or consuming excessive amounts of greasy or fatty foods may also lead to frequent flatulence.
