Chronic cervicitis with squamous metaplasia and cervical polyp
Disease description:
I was diagnosed with chronic cervicitis with squamous metaplasia and cervical polyps. I’m unsure what to do next. How is chronic cervicitis with squamous metaplasia and cervical polyps treated?
Chronic cervicitis with squamous metaplasia and cervical polyps can generally be treated through medications, surgery, or other approaches. If a patient has cervical polyps accompanied by squamous metaplasia, minimally invasive surgery may be performed to remove the polyps. After surgery, patients should maintain good personal hygiene and undergo pathological biopsy. Postoperatively, they should consume more vegetables and fruits, eat easily digestible foods, and ensure adequate rest.
