Hemorrhoids in newborns may result from constipation, which increases intra-abdominal pressure. They may also be caused by frequent crying or forceful coughing. Additionally, abnormal development of the anal blood vessels in infants—combined with increased negative pressure—can lead to infantile hemorrhoids. In daily life, consuming more high-fiber foods is recommended; freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices can also be consumed to help promote gastrointestinal motility.
