Loose, sweet-smelling, and foul-smelling stools may result from intestinal inflammation triggering irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or enteritis. They may also stem from chronic indigestion caused by prolonged consumption of unhygienic food. Additionally, gastrointestinal malignancies cannot be ruled out. We recommend that you visit a hospital for routine colon examinations, imaging studies, and other relevant tests to determine the underlying cause based on the results.
