The pain of appendicitis is generally located in the right lower abdomen. Initially, appendicitis pain begins as discomfort in the stomach, upper abdomen, or around the navel. After several hours, the pain shifts to the right lower abdomen. The pain in the right lower abdomen starts as intermittent episodes and gradually intensifies into a persistent ache. The tender point of appendicitis lies along the line connecting the navel and the right anterior superior iliac spine, where patients experience the most pronounced pain or tenderness.
