How long after circumcision can one walk normally?
I had a circumcision surgery yesterday and have been lying in bed since then. However, I have an important event next week. How long after circumcision can I walk normally?
After circumcision, patients will gradually experience relief from pain within 24 hours post-surgery. They may get out of bed for light activity but should avoid frequent walking to prevent penile movement that could cause wound bleeding and increased pain. For the first three days after surgery, patients should rest in bed as much as possible. Normal walking is generally possible after about one week, although strenuous activities or prolonged walking should still be avoided. Although the wound begins to heal by this time, it remains important to protect the area and prevent any interference with the healing process.
