Doctor's answer (1)
Dr. Peng Xiaodong
After radiation therapy, if oral ulcers are mild, it is recommended to drink plenty of water to keep the mouth moist, maintain good oral hygiene, and develop habits of rinsing the mouth after meals and brushing teeth in the morning and evening, to prevent food residues and debris from remaining in the mouth. If there are numerous ulcers, medications such as Bingboran powder or oral ulcer patches may be used. For larger ulcers accompanied by infection and resulting in swollen cervical lymph nodes, antibiotic treatment under a doctor's guidance is necessary.
