The time to return to work after appendicitis surgery is usually not fixed. If there is no wound infection after surgery and the patient receives adequate nutrition, leading to good recovery, they can typically return to work within 10 to 15 days. However, if improper wound care leads to complications such as wound dehiscence or infection, or if postoperative complications occur, the recovery period may be prolonged.
