Some patients may experience increased salivation, which is caused by surgical stimulation leading to enhanced secretion from the glands in the mouth. This is a normal postoperative response. In the first few hours after surgery, saliva may be tinged with blood, but this will gradually diminish. To reduce discomfort, it is recommended to avoid frequent spitting; instead, gently swallow the saliva. Maintaining good oral hygiene is also important to prevent infection. If discomfort persists, please consult your doctor.
