- Bumps on the labia majora are often due to folliculitis or inflammation of the Bartholin’s glands.
- Bumps on the labia minora are commonly caused by sebaceous gland hyperplasia or skin/mucosal abscesses.
For bumps on the labia, you may use an external cleansing solution such as Jier Yin (a herbal antiseptic wash), apply povidone-iodine solution locally, or use snake fat ointment for its anti-inflammatory effect.
