I've been feeling unwell these past couple of days, not sure if I have hemorrhoids. May I ask what symptoms women experience when they have hemorrhoids?

When women develop hemorrhoids, the main symptoms include: 1. Rectal bleeding: One of the most common symptoms, it may appear as blood on toilet paper after defecation, fresh blood on the surface of stool, or even dripping or spurting bright red blood from the anus. 2. Pain: The degree of pain varies depending on the type of hemorrhoid. Internal hemorrhoids usually do not cause pain, but may become painful if they prolapse and become trapped outside the anus; external hemorrhoids, especially thrombosed external hemorrhoids, can cause severe pain. 3. Prolapse: As internal hemorrhoids worsen, they may prolapse—protruding from the anal opening. In some cases, they need to be manually pushed back in, or cannot be reduced at all. 4. Itching: Due to irritation from hemorrhoids, moisture around the anus may develop, leading to itching. These symptoms may occur individually or simultaneously. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly when such symptoms arise.
