Why are my hands so itchy?
Disease description:
My hands have been very itchy for the past two days, and I keep feeling the urge to scratch them. What could be causing this itchiness in my hands?

Itchy hands can be caused by various factors:
1. Allergic reaction: The hands may come into contact with allergens such as animal dander, dust mites, or chemicals, leading to an allergic skin reaction and resulting in itching.
2. Eczema: Related to both internal and external factors, such as neuro-psychological factors, endocrine changes, and infection sites. It is often accompanied by symptoms like erythema and papules.
3. Urticaria: The causes are complex and may be related to food, medications, infections, etc. Skin manifestations are diverse and accompanied by intense itching.
4. Tinea manuum (hand fungus): Caused by fungal infection, commonly including Trichophyton rubrum. It is often triggered by low immunity or tinea pedis (athlete's foot).
5. Environmental factors: Prolonged exposure to humid environments or high summer temperatures may cause impaired perspiration, leading to itching.
7. Others: Insect bites, chemical irritants, and similar factors may also cause hand itching.
If symptoms persist or worsen, timely medical consultation is recommended to identify the underlying cause and initiate targeted treatment.
