Rabies is generally incurable. It is a highly lethal viral infectious disease; once clinical symptoms develop, it can be fatal. Rabies is an acute infectious disease caused by the rabies virus, primarily transmitted to humans through bites from infected animals. If rabies is suspected, immediate symptomatic treatment must be administered.
