Hello, cervical erosion is actually ectopic cervical columnar epithelium—a normal physiological phenomenon, not a pathological condition—and therefore typically causes no symptoms. However, if a patient with ectopic cervical columnar epithelium also has cervicitis, symptoms such as postcoital bleeding and increased vaginal discharge may occur.
