What causes a throbbing or distending pain on both temples?

Due to work-related stress, I’ve recently been experiencing persistent throbbing pain on both temples. What could be causing bilateral temple pain?

Bilateral temporal headache (pain and pressure in the temples) may result from insufficient sleep or excessive stress. However, hypertension cannot be ruled out as a potential cause; therefore, blood pressure measurement under a physician’s guidance is necessary to determine the underlying cause. Additionally, muscle aches and pains may occur with colds or febrile illnesses. If the symptoms are due to a cold, symptomatic treatment for the common cold may be appropriate.
