Hello, Pearly penile papules and genital warts are both skin infections primarily affecting the genital area; however, they differ significantly in etiology and clinical presentation. Pearly penile papules are mainly caused by inadequate hygiene of the genital region, whereas genital warts are typically transmitted through sexual contact. Pearly penile papules usually occur bilaterally along the coronal sulcus of the penis and appear as fine, hair-like projections.
