How long does permanent eyebrow tattooing last?

I got semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing a few days ago, but the results were rather mediocre, so I’m considering having them removed entirely. If the pigment fades quickly, I’ll just leave them as they are and won’t bother with any corrections. However, if the tattoo lasts for decades, I’d prefer to have the eyebrows laser-removed.
