Side effects of MRI include noise generated during the examination, which may cause some patients to experience dizziness, palpitations, sweating, chest tightness, and other symptoms afterward, and may also impose significant psychological stress. Frequent MRI examinations within a short period may adversely affect hearing and potentially cause tinnitus.
