Dr. Zhang Ligong
After being struck on the temple, a person may experience tinnitus and headache. If a concussion or intracranial hemorrhage occurs, prominent symptoms such as vomiting, headache, and dizziness may develop. In most cases—when there is no significant cerebral contusion or injury—severe headache or dizziness is unlikely; symptoms typically resolve spontaneously within a short time, and excessive anxiety is unnecessary. However, if severe headache, ocular hemorrhage or ecchymosis, or epistaxis occurs, prompt cranial CT imaging is required.
