What should I do for stomach discomfort, nausea, dizziness, and dry mouth?
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve been experiencing significant gastric discomfort, frequently accompanied by dizziness, nausea, and dry mouth. Could you advise what I should do?
Gastric discomfort often triggers nausea, but it does not necessarily cause dry mouth. Dizziness is also possible; it is commonly caused by insufficient cerebral blood supply and is frequently associated with cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases. Dry mouth is typically due to dehydration or “excess internal heat” (a traditional Chinese medicine concept). If the underlying cause remains unclear, relevant diagnostic tests should be performed—including evaluations of the cerebral vasculature and gastrointestinal system. Patients presenting with dry mouth should generally undergo blood glucose testing.
