Is Eperisone Hydrochloride Tablets a hormonal drug?
Disease description:
I have suffered from lumbar spine disease for a long time. Whenever it flares up, the pain is excruciating. My doctor recommended using Eperisone Hydrochloride Tablets. I’m particularly concerned because the prescribed medication is said to be a hormonal drug—so, is Eperisone Hydrochloride a hormonal (steroid) drug?
Eperisone Hydrochloride Tablets are not hormonal drugs. They are used to alleviate muscle tension associated with certain conditions, such as cervicobrachial syndrome, periarthritis of the shoulder, and low back pain. Additionally, they are indicated for the treatment of spastic paralysis caused by various disorders, including cerebrovascular disorders, spastic spinal paralysis, cervical spondylosis, postoperative sequelae, post-traumatic sequelae, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and infantile cerebral palsy. These tablets must be used under the guidance of a physician to ensure appropriate dosing and to minimize the risk of adverse effects.
