Eggs cannot treat constipation. Drinking plenty of warm water and consuming more vegetables and fruits—such as bananas and celery—can help alleviate constipation. Constipation is associated with factors including reduced gastrointestinal motility, gastrointestinal dysfunction, and habitual constipation. Irregular lifestyle habits—such as staying up late, excessive alcohol consumption, erratic eating patterns—as well as high stress levels in work or living environments may also contribute to constipation, leading to symptoms like abdominal distension, difficulty passing stool, and hard, dry stools. Treatment options include medications that lubricate the intestines, promote bowel movements, aid digestion, and clear internal heat. Glycerin suppositories (e.g., Dulcolax) can help lubricate the rectum and facilitate defecation. Additionally, establishing healthy, consistent bowel habits is essential.
