Can individuals with hyperuricemia take Baoshenkang?

Bao Shen Kang is commonly used for conditions such as nephritis, chronic nephritis, and early-stage uremia associated with nephrotic syndrome. It does not have a specific therapeutic effect on hyperuricemia. Patients with elevated uric acid levels should avoid foods high in purines—particularly animal liver, seafood, and meat—and must abstain from smoking and alcohol to prevent gout, a painful condition triggered by excessive uric acid. Additionally, patients should opt for light, low-purine meals and increase their fluid intake to help lower serum uric acid levels.
