Pregabalin typically takes about one week to take effect. However, because individual absorption rates vary, the onset of therapeutic effects may differ from person to person; therefore, patients should assess their personal response based on their own absorption capacity. Additionally, patients must not discontinue the medication arbitrarily during treatment. Instead, they should undergo follow-up evaluation at a hospital, after which the physician will adjust the dosage or treatment plan according to the patient’s clinical condition.
