Introduction
COVID-19 vaccination is the most effective measure for preventing and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic; therefore, all eligible individuals should receive the vaccine. Currently, COVID-19 vaccines are typically administered via intramuscular injection. The specific procedure includes wearing appropriate clothing, placing hands on hips (to relax the deltoid muscle), receiving the injection, and remaining under observation for a designated period; individuals may leave after the observation period if no adverse reactions occur.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is the most effective measure for preventing and controlling the pandemic; therefore, all eligible individuals should receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, the vaccine is typically administered via intramuscular injection, with the specific procedure outlined below:

1. Wear clothing that is easy to put on and take off, allowing full exposure of the deltoid muscle in the upper arm.

2. After fully exposing the deltoid muscle, place your hands on your hips (i.e., “hands-on-hips” position).

3. While in the hands-on-hips position, a healthcare professional will administer the COVID-19 vaccine rapidly.

4. After vaccination, remain in the designated observation area for 30 minutes; you may leave once no adverse reactions are observed.

Prior to vaccination, avoid alcohol and tobacco, ensure adequate sleep, and remember to bring valid identification documents.
