Introduction
An LDL level of 3.44 mmol/L is generally considered relatively high. The normal value for low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is below 3.1 mmol/L. When LDL reaches 3.44 mmol/L, it may increase the risk of coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, stroke, and other conditions. Therefore, elevated LDL levels are also referred to as hypercholesterolemia or high LDL cholesterol.

Generally, a low-density lipoprotein (LDL) level of 3.44 mmol/L is considered relatively high.

The normal value for LDL is below 3.1 mmol/L. When LDL reaches 3.44 mmol/L, it may increase the risk of coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, stroke, and other conditions. Therefore, elevated LDL is also referred to as hyperlipoproteinemia. It is recommended to manage this condition under a doctor's guidance using medications that lower LDL levels, such as bile acid sequestrants. However, if a person has diabetes along with cardiovascular disease, LDL should be controlled below 1.8 mmol/L; otherwise, it may worsen cardiovascular conditions or diabetes. Additionally, in cases of atherosclerosis, lowering LDL levels is advised to prevent disease progression.

In daily life, it is recommended to develop healthy eating and lifestyle habits, maintain regular meal times with balanced portions, avoid overeating, ensure sufficient sleep, and refrain from staying up late.
