Efficacy and Effects of Yupingfeng Granules
Yu Ping Feng Granules is a traditional Chinese patent medicine composed of multiple herbal ingredients, such as Huang Qi (Astragalus membranaceus) and Fang Feng (Saposhnikovia divaricata). According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory, these herbs are synergistically combined to exert the therapeutic effects of tonifying Qi, consolidating the exterior, and arresting spontaneous sweating.

Clinically, Yu Ping Feng Granules is primarily used to treat allergic conditions, including allergic asthma, urticaria, and allergic eczema, demonstrating excellent efficacy. It also helps regulate the body in patients with compromised immunity, Qi and blood deficiency, superficial deficiency with spontaneous sweating, or general constitutional weakness and recurrent illness. Additionally, it serves as an adjunctive therapy for chronic bronchitis, obstructive emphysema, myocarditis, colitis, constipation, and chronic rhinitis.

As a traditional Chinese patent medicine, patients should avoid consuming greasy foods during treatment. This medication should be taken on an empty stomach—i.e., before meals. Furthermore, if symptoms show no improvement after two weeks of treatment—or worsen during treatment—patients should discontinue use immediately and seek evaluation at a qualified medical institution.
