Recovery process of facial fat grafting
Facial fat grafting is a commonly used clinical procedure to improve facial depressions. The recovery process after facial fat transplantation generally involves the following stages:

1. Days 3–10 post-surgery are typically the swelling phase: Apply cold compresses appropriately and drink plenty of water. Avoid getting the surgical area wet during the first week after surgery. If the area accidentally gets wet, dry it immediately, and avoid external pressure or trauma to the treated site.
2. From day 15 to 3 months post-surgery, gradual fat absorption occurs: Swelling subsides progressively, and the grafted fat tissue is gradually absorbed until the condition stabilizes. Maintain normal nutritional intake and a balanced diet. Smoking, alcohol consumption, and spicy or irritating foods should be strictly avoided.
3. After 3 months post-surgery, fat absorption is essentially complete, and the face will appear more natural. At this stage, an appropriate amount of antibiotic ointment can be applied to the incision sites to promote scar absorption.
