Introduction
When influenza A is complicated by pneumonia, clinical manifestations may include cough, sputum production, fever, headache, and generalized joint pain. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may also occur. Its typical features are rapid progression and prominent high fever. Antiviral medications such as oseltamivir should be used, along with symptomatic treatment.

When influenza A is complicated by pneumonia, clinical manifestations may include cough, sputum production, fever, headache, and generalized joint pain. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may also occur. Prompt management is necessary when these symptoms appear.

1. If the patient's symptoms are relatively mild, management mainly involves lifestyle guidance, including adequate rest and increased intake of fluids and electrolytes.

2. If symptoms are severe, antiviral drugs such as oseltamivir or arbidol should be administered, along with symptomatic treatment. For fever, antipyretic medications or physical cooling methods can be used. In cases of respiratory failure, respiratory support therapy should be provided.

Preventive measures for influenza A complicated by pneumonia include:

1. Vaccination to enhance immunity;

2. Maintaining personal hygiene—frequent handwashing and bathing, and avoiding sharing towels, drinking cups, and other personal items;

3. Ensuring indoor ventilation by regularly opening windows to allow fresh air circulation;

4. Avoiding places with heavy population flow, especially during peak flu seasons, minimizing visits to crowded areas such as restaurants, shopping malls, and cinemas to reduce the risk of influenza virus infection.

If symptoms of influenza A complicated by pneumonia occur, it is recommended to seek timely medical attention and prompt treatment.
