Introduction
Inducing vomiting after drinking alcohol is not good for the body. Doing so forces alcohol and food from the stomach to be expelled, causing nausea and vomiting, and in severe cases may lead to upper gastrointestinal bleeding or acute pancreatitis. The expulsion of alcohol and food irritates the pharyngeal mucosa, potentially causing throat damage. Induced vomiting also increases gastric acid, which irritates the esophagus, possibly resulting in esophageal tears, or even life-threatening complications such as asphyxiation.

Induced vomiting after drinking alcohol is not good for the body. It is not advisable to repeatedly induce vomiting after drinking, as this may cause physical harm.

Induced vomiting after drinking may increase abdominal pressure, causing stomach contents—including alcohol and food—to forcefully expel, which can trigger nausea and vomiting, damage the gastric mucosa, and in severe cases, lead to upper gastrointestinal bleeding or acute pancreatitis. The forceful ejection of stomach contents can also irritate the pharyngeal mucosa, resulting in throat injury. Prolonged or repeated episodes may cause symptoms such as hoarseness and sore throat. Additionally, during induced vomiting, increased gastric acid can irritate the esophagus, potentially causing esophageal tears. Moreover, if vomit blocks the nose or mouth during vomiting, it could lead to choking, posing a life-threatening risk.

It is recommended to reduce or avoid alcohol consumption in daily life to prevent liver damage and abnormal liver function. Furthermore, after drinking, one should avoid inducing vomiting. Instead, drinking适量 honey water or fresh fruit juice may help alleviate intoxication.
