It is recommended to seek timely medical consultation and, under a doctor's guidance, choose appropriate methods for treatment, avoiding inappropriate use of drugs that may affect health.

Pregnant women are considered a group with relatively unique physical conditions. Gastrointestinal discomfort and diarrhea during pregnancy can generally be managed through dietary adjustments, warm compresses and massage, maintaining food hygiene, taking probiotics, or using antidiarrheal medications. Specific approaches are as follows:

1. Dietary Adjustment

For gastrointestinal discomfort and diarrhea during pregnancy, the diet should primarily consist of light, easily digestible, and absorbable foods, such as millet porridge, pumpkin porridge, and noodles. These not only provide essential nutrients but also help replenish fluids. Avoid cold, spicy, stimulating, or heat-inducing foods such as chili peppers, ginger, and garlic, which may irritate the gastrointestinal tract and worsen diarrhea.

2. Warm Compress and Massage

A warm towel or hot water bottle can be used to apply warmth to the abdomen, combined with gentle clockwise abdominal massage. This helps improve blood circulation and relieve discomfort. However, care must be taken to avoid burning the skin and excessive pressure during massage, which could cause abdominal pain or negatively affect fetal development.

3. Maintain Food Hygiene

It is important to maintain good food hygiene by avoiding undercooked or unwashed foods, which may lead to bacterial infections and exacerbate diarrhea symptoms.

4. Taking Probiotics

If intestinal flora imbalance is present, probiotics may be taken appropriately under medical supervision, such as Bifidobacterium triple viable capsules, Bacillus subtilis and Enterococcus faecalis viable granules, or Bifidobacterium quadruple viable tablets, to help restore normal intestinal flora.

5. Taking Antidiarrheal Medications

If diarrhea is severe and does not improve with the above measures, medications such as smectite powder may be used under a doctor's guidance to control diarrhea.
