Introduction
After inducing vomiting, if a feeling of fullness persists, it may be due to stimulation triggering the nervous system to activate protective regulatory mechanisms, or gastrointestinal dysfunction caused by the act of inducing vomiting. Additionally, if an individual has gastritis, abdominal distension and a sensation of fullness may occur after vomiting. If this condition occurs, it is recommended to seek prompt medical evaluation and treatment at a hospital.

Feeling full after vomiting may be due to stimulation or factors such as gastrointestinal dysfunction or gastritis.

1. Stimulation

Feeling full after vomiting might result from irritation caused during the act of induced vomiting, triggering the nervous system to activate protective mechanisms that prevent eating for a period of time.

2. Gastrointestinal Dysfunction

Feeling full after vomiting could be caused by disruption of gastrointestinal function during forced vomiting. This may also be accompanied by abnormal symptoms such as acid reflux, belching, vomiting, and abdominal pain.

3. Gastritis

If acute or chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa develops due to various factors, bloating and a sensation of fullness may occur after vomiting. This may also be associated with upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite.

After experiencing persistent fullness following induced vomiting, it is recommended to promptly visit a hospital for appropriate examinations to establish an accurate diagnosis. Treatment should be carried out according to the underlying cause under medical supervision to prevent serious complications.
