Is exercising at 10:30 p.m. good for the body?
Exercising at 10:30 PM is generally not good for the body and may affect normal sleep patterns.
By 10:30 PM, the body should be in a resting state, with various physiological functions already slowing down. Engaging in physical activity at this time can accelerate metabolism and circulation, leading to abnormal excitement of the central nervous system. This may delay falling asleep and reduce sleep quality, making it harder to recover energy the following day. Additionally, exercise induces sweating; if sweat is not washed off before sleeping, it may irritate the skin surface and cause issues such as clogged pores.
It is not advisable to engage in intense exercise right before bedtime. Always warm up properly before exercising. If you sweat during exercise, wait about half an hour afterward before showering, and ensure your body stays warm.
